Koenji Hikawa Shrine, also known as Numabukuro Hikawa Shrine, is a uniquely fascinating shrine — the only one in all of Japan that houses a Weather Shrine (Kisho Jinja) dedicated to the God of Weather. The main shrine's deity, Susanoo-no-Mikoto, is celebrated as the God of Warding Off Evil and the God of Destined Love, making this shrine popular for blessings of protection and romantic connections.

This adorable owl-themed omamori is named after the shrine's local area mascot — the "Numa-Fukurou." In Japanese, "fukurou" (フクロウ) can be written as 不苦労 meaning "no hardship," making owls powerful symbols of good fortune. Available in yellow-green and light blue, this charming and unique charm is exclusive to this shrine.
