Omiya Hachiman Shrine was founded in 1063 by the legendary warrior Minamoto no Yoriyoshi after a divine omen of white clouds splitting into eight streams. Known as "The Navel of Tokyo" because it sits at the geographic center of the city, this expansive 50,000-square-meter sanctuary is especially revered for safe childbirth and child-rearing, thanks to the enshrined Empress Jingu who legendarily led troops into battle while pregnant.

This omamori takes the form of a gohei — a traditional Shinto ritual wand with zigzag paper streamers used in purification ceremonies. Blessed with prayers for traffic safety, this compact charm is designed to hang from your car's rearview mirror, bringing the purifying and protective energy of a Shinto ceremony to every drive. Available in red and blue, each color carries traditional significance in Japanese spiritual practice. A distinctive and culturally rich alternative to standard traffic safety charms.
